Research
Here are a few tips to help you begin the design process:
- Define you goals: Think about what you want, what you need and what you can afford.
- Prioritize: What is most important to your project and ultimately, what are you trying to accomplish?
- Research: If you have trouble conceptualizing your project, don't be afraid to look at a few design magazines for ideas. Clip out images of the rooms and furnishings that appeal to you, even if they don't seem to fit.
How it works:
Assessment: In an initial meeting, we determine space needs and goals and establish a preliminary schedule and budget.
Site visit: Next, we visit the site to inventory existing furnishings and items and measure the interior spaces.
Design: Color palettes and samples of fabrics, furniture, wall coverings, floor coverings, window treatments and lighting are presented to you to help you visualize each design concept. This is when your original design goals begin to evolve. We work together to form and refine a design scheme and start working to make the ideas materialize.
Pricing:
An estimate for the design fee will be given for each individual project.
